"Death of Susan Ross" anniversary thread

It was 12 years ago today that Susan Biddle Ross departed this mortal coil. Her death took place in the shadow of new life. She's not really dead if we find a way to remember her.

Farewell, Susan. May you rest in peace.

 

Time for the summer of George!!!

 

That plot line was awful.

 

I thought the fact that she died because of George's cheapness was pretty good.

 

I hope a foundation will be established in her honor.

 

It will get all the money that would have been theirs.

 

You think they think he killed her?

 

That may have been the cruelest and most cynical storyline to ever appear on a major network sitcom.

Didn't that episode end with the gang going for coffee?

 

I hanker for a hunk of cheese.

 

Indeed. They find out Susan's dead, and immediately after -- in the hospital -- they decide to go and get some coffee.

 

Nope, sorry. One of the two low points of the show (along with the finale)

 

Come on, her death made for some fantastic storylines and one-liners.

Also, really, could you have expected that?
