Death Kept Couple Apart Just One Day

    This couple were together almost right up to the very end. I am not much for sap, but this was an interesting, sweet little story.

    My wife runs an assisted living facility and this phenomenon happens far more than you would think.

    Same thing with my great-grandparents. He lived to 102, she lived to 99 and died a few days after him.

    61 years without a day apart?

    My great-grandparents died about 18 hours apart from each other. My great-grandma went first. My great-grandfather had no idea she died when he went. They didn't tell him.

    Double funerals are pretty damn hard.
