Monday, a worker fell to his death on Endeavor's launch pad:

I spoke to my sister today. She works at the same NASA contractor as the deceased, and she said there are now rumors that he jumped to his death.

OSHA investigated and found nothing wrong safety-wise. And the word is that even though the story says that Vanover had found a job for after his impending layoff, it now appears there was no such backup plan. They're saying he he'd lied to his family about having a new job lined up.
