While we're piling on, Page 2 still sucks.

Well, to be fair, I don't think Hoppes has been allowed to hire anyone yet. A lot of people there are expecting big changes as soon as the contracts start expiring. I thought a big one was expiring in December, but I haven't heard anything about it.

More Super Bowl silliness. Where's the harm in something so innocuous?

    Nothing to see here.

Is that Hoppes' goal then? To write something innocuous that's not worth reading?

That is some unique stuff. How many other sports websites did a 900-word play-by-play blog of the movements of Mariah Carey?

"For Carey, the song "All I Want for Christmas is You" has special meaning because Christmas is her favorite holiday."

    And later:

""I want to make the holidays fun and exciting," said Carey, who has been married to Cannon for nearly two years. "I'm not into materialistic things anymore. I just want to be with friends and family."

Wow. Now THAT'S journalism. Glad to see Hoppes promoting an NBA/ESPN event . . . .Eerrrrrr . . . telling a Mariah Carey story no one else has.
