    McKenna was shown the door at City Paper a while ago, although I think it was couched as a mutual decision. He was one of the few things I'd read in it.

    Also interesting to note that the coach at O'Connell is Morgan Wootten's kid.

    None of the 100 or so "high schools" which aspire to nationwide top-20 ranking (as preposterous as such things are) plays "high school" basketball as most of America has commonly known it. Instead it could be better described as "under-21 barnstorming semipro basketball."
