Ernest Borgnine played Lombardi in a movie many years ago --- resemblance was outstanding.

Maybe I'm pessimistic, but there's almost no chance this movie won't suck, right? It's hard to imagine that ESPN won't make Lombardi the "a seal here, and a seal here" caricature that Berman and company have constructed over the years.

They should go 50s monster movie style and make this Junction Boys vs. Lombardi.

Lombardi: Once you learn to quit, it becomes a habit.
    Bryant: He ain't quittin'.
Lombardi: Well then ... good. Anyway, coaches who can outline plays on a black board are a dime a dozen. The ones who win get inside their player and motivate.
    Bryant: He ain't quittin'.
Lombardi: (sigh) Confidence is contagious. So is lack of confidence.
    Bryant: He ain't quittin'.
Lombardi: I heard you, Paul ... the difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.
    Bryant: He ain't quittin'.
Lombardi: Shut the fuck up you monotonous houndstooth hat-wearing cracker!
