All jokes aside (good place for a race, but just not to live year-round ... trust me on this one) ...

Ear protection - as in full-on, not earbuds - and if you're close enough to the track, eye protection. Might be OK with big glasses (Rx or otherwise), but if you've never been to a race and sit close to the track, you'd be surprised how much debris from the track ends up many rows up in the stands. Sand, dirt, tire remnants, etc. ...

Evil, I trust you know that we all expect you to provide real-time updates on your Daytona experience as it develops.

    Or devolves. Whatever.

  3. Wouldn't it be better if she gets a tattoo of me on her ass? That way she'd always be sitting on my face?

If I pay for that would it count as a Valentine's Day gift?

  4. Maybe after the race. I'll be busy driving

    Fair enough.

    Remember to turn left.

Chris, I say this with love: If she wouldn't go to Lollipops with you, she's not the kind of woman you want to date.

In another life I spent a week living in the corporate RV area at the track during Speedweeks.

    I remember some of it.

  8. Look for the super-charged AMC Gremlin. That will be my ride.

I think it's pretty cool you chose the number 41 to honor Ted Williams.

If it had been a supercharged VW instead, it'd have been to honor Dirk Nowitzki.
