I'm old and this makes me feel even older. I remeber watching Letterman's daytime 'talk show' when i was in college and now he's retiring. Dear gods, are you taking me soon?

Wow. I feel old just because I used to record Letterman's 12:30 show when I was in high school and college. :D

It was a while ago. Check YouTube.

I was in *middle school* when the daytime show was on, so imagine how old I feel.

Thank goodness Regis was on tonight. I didn't want him taking over the last show.

The Rupert G montage just reminded me of what a total smartass Letterman used to be.

Any sightings of Mujibur and Sirajul? Or are we saving them for the finale?

They were in a montage. I don't think we'll see them again.

Check this NYT story for an update on where they are now.

Well that was a disappointing next-to-last show. Bill Murray wasn't that funny, and Dylan was impossible to understand. My wife asked if he was singing in French. I didn't know.

To be fair, Bette Midler and Robin Williams set the bar pretty damn high for next to last shows.

I liked Murray's entrance. And that was one of the best-written Top Ten lists in a long, long time.

Dylan's appearance was the musical equivalent of Eastwood talking to a chair.
