I've read it a couple of times, and while it is pretty clear that Feherty's tongue is in his cheek for most of it, there is no "wink, wink" in the graph about Pelosi.

    And there's this:
"I believe in the death penalty, especially for pro-lifers, child molesters, those opposed to gay marriage, and for stupid dancing in the end zone. I believe in the abolition of estate taxes and the Pickens Plan. I'd lower the legal drinking age and raise the driving age to 18 nationwide, make Kinky Friedman governor of Texas, and make all schools, public and private, start earlier with one hour of physical exercise."

    Feherty is the dog's nuts.

  6. Feherty's rehearsing his "apology" as we speak.
And the editor should be updating his resume.

To me it's just enjoyable for a friggin' golf talking head to have thoughts beyond whether or not Phil should carry four wedges. Not gonna get too bent out of shape over where Feherty leans politically (though again, he's a golf guy, so if you don't know which way he's going already, you're not paying attention).

  11. It's not the way he "leans."
It's what he said, which slanders American servicemen and women too.
And the clock on the wall says three o'clock, BYM.

CBS Sports quickly distanced itself from Feherty's writing.

"We want to be clear that this column for a Dallas magazine is an unacceptable attempt at humor and is not in any way condoned, endorsed or approved by CBS Sports," spokeswoman LeslieAnne Wade said.
