I had a journalism professor who used to say "the only dumb question is the one you don't ask."

I guess he never met ND.

ESPN is talking about Dick Trickle right now. Is he the best NASCAR driver ever?

And Monday afternoons and some Saturday and Sunday mornings. Plus MLS matches, Mexican league matches, the Mexican National Team and, until recently, the USMNT. Oh, and the Euro tournament and the Confederations Cup.

  5. ESPN won't have EPL for the next three years unless NBC makes a deal.

And, once again, limited highlights on Sportscenter and limited debate on First Take.

Your embrace of debate is somewhat lacking, Mr. Wretch. I shall have to ask you to hyperventilate at least 50 percent more often or risk losing your Sports Card. Thank you for your timely attention.

Is Tim Tebow the David Beckham of the NFL? Next on First Take!

Unlike ND, I'd call that significant. I knew there was more, but I also knew the more-experienced soccer fans here would fill in the blanks.

So measuring soccer's importance to ESPN is limited to SportsCenter highlights and First Take?

By the way, have you ever heard of Pele? Diego Maradona?
