    In no way, shape or form the best player of this or any other era. Not even close. Anyone who would ask knows nothing about soccer.

    Echo what both InkyWretch and deskslave said. Very good player who's known more as a celebrity. Nowhere near close to the best ever.

    One of the most overrated athletes ever. Talented, sure, but anyone who knows soccer understands there are so many more players who are better who get just a fraction of the spolight. Beckham is massively overrated.
