    Technically he would be. *shrug* An acquaintance of mine from college was half Egyptian and half Irish (and born in suburban Pittsburgh), and when I was telling a friend of mine about him she said to me, "So he's African-American." She was black and I didn't initially know how to respond, but thought about it and said, "Well, I guess you're right!"

    and don't get me going on the Carter Beauford best drummer award.........dude can flat out play the drums.

    PGA tour rookie Brendon De Jonge is a white African-American. (From Zimbabwe). So is Ernie Els. And Nick Price.
