Don's an artist, a National alum, and I'm trying to find him for a friend. Anybody on board here know where he is or have a suggestion on where to start looking?

    Thanks

    Update:
"Frank Ridgeway" put me with Bob Rebach at the Bergen Record, and Rebach put DeMaio with my friend....thanks to everyone who tried to help.....

    Google'd, Yahoo'd, Dogpile'd, Alltheweb'd, Anywho'd, PeopleSearch'd....did a dozen database searches....got plenty of "Don DeMaio"'s to cold-call, just hoped somebody might know the flesh-and-blood man....

    Dave,

I saw Don in New York about a year and a half ago. He was still living in city and I think doing freelance work. But sorry I don't have a contact.

When this board isn't screwing around -- not that there's anything wrong with that -- it can serve very useful purposes.

Yes, it can. I'd like to see it do more of that.

In this case, it brought together two old friends at an important juncture in their lives. It happened because "Frank Ridgeway" remembered the list of National alum posted here long ago and plucked from it the e-mail of a man who once worked with DeMaio. You'd think this Ridgeway guy was a reporter or something.

You mean he quit his drumming gig? Words and music, man, words and music.

Hey, no outing. Anyway, Kenny played drums, Frank on keyboards.

    Glad I could help, Dave.

Stupid me, I'd never made the Frank Ridgeway/Eddie and the Cruisers connection.

One of my true guilty-pleasure movies.

    Word man.

Geezus, me neither. How dumb of me, since I love that movie. One of those "guilty pleasure" things, or is it beyond that.

It's one where, if it's on when you get home at night, you're stuck.

And yet, I never really thought about who Frank Ridgeway was until you mentioned it.

  12. When's "A Season In Hell" coming out on CD?
