Mrs. Uni and I had our last child and first daughter in June, and I want to get something for her first Valentine's Day that she can have as a keepsake.
Just from me, not from the rest of family, you know, a dad-daughter kind of thing.
    Any ideas?

small ring. Even if she doesn't wear it, you'll always be the first guy to give her a ring. :)

(I am actually only sort of kidding. I gave my 19 year old a very nice sterling silver ring for Christmas this year. For the same reason.

My dad got me a stuffed Oscar the Grouch the first Valentine's Day after he and my mom got married (or so goes the story he tells, although the holiday has been known to change). I still have the thing in a box. Makes me smile everytime I see it.
