It's a stupid rule on the part of the school. If I were the girl or her family, I'd sue the school for discrimination.

Guessing two girls going together isn't going to fly with the Archdiocese.

I just thought she could go with Dad for 10 minutes, get the pictures and then he plays chaperone.

Sounds like she still has time to get another date though.

she's already sunk $1000 into it, why not spend a little more and hire a giggalo.

Lot of schools have lots of stupid rules. That doesn't mean you need to sue them and on what grounds would you sue in this case? Discrimination for getting dumped?

I'd go with my Dad or pay some kid to go to satisfy their rule and ditch him real quick like. Not all couples who go to the prom together leave together that's for damn sure. Not sure of background but this girl doesn't seem like she tried real hard to think of other ways to go.

Or for $10, a dimebag, a bottle of Red Faygo and a king size bag of Funyons, she can hire a juggalo

Discrimination against who? What group is being discriminated against?

Discrimination is one of those words in law that most people have no idea what it means. It is legal to discriminate, unless it's a group or class that is protected by law.

    Exactly.

    I can't afford a BMW.

Should I sue BMW for discriminating against people who can't afford BMWs?

Perhaps she can use the $1500 she was going to buy a telescope with and pay a date. Wait. That was already done in cinema.

A real juggalo would know that it's Faygo Redpop, dammit.
