Daniel Tosh and Rape Jokes

You people are taking my good name in vain.

 

Stop making so much sense.

I'm a big comedy fan. I used to go to the Comedy Cellar every night I was in NYC and I used to have to travel there 5-6 times a year.

I was there once and a woman heckled Louis C.K. because he was working stuff out, and had his notebook out. This woman had no concept that this is how comedians get better before they go out on tour and for some reason expected him to come out and do 45 minutes.

He called her the c-word about five times and the crowd was cheering.

I remember right after C.K.'s set, Colin Quinn came up and the first line he said was, "Lady, you want filet mignon, but you're getting to watch us kill the cow."

If you don't like what the comic is saying, you get up and walk out. If you decide to heckle, while that is your right, you immediately become fair game.

 

Calling someone the c-word is not a approrpriate response to <i>anything</i>, man.

 

I think rape rape jokes are over the line.

I'm probably going to get roasted by some of our lovely ladies here on the board, and I mean no disrespect to them, but I disagree. And if you ever meet my ex, you will too.

 

I thought this was excellent - saw it last night.

 

They almost turned on my man around 3:00 there. Louie is smarter than 99.7% of the populace.
