3 combined losses in the 8 teams, or something like that, right, mark? Should be a good day.

Yep...we're on the air about 14 hours for this, and since it will be the 24th, my stats guy will regale me with his imitation of Jack Buck doing play-by-play of the Oswald killing. It never ceases to make me laugh till I cry.

Mmmmm I had turkey, gravy and four shrimps.

It was good, but it wasn't mom's.

Your new handle should be Barry Bonds..........wiff on a hanging curve ball like that, and it's time to pack it in.

Cracker Barrel wasn't too bad. Too bad some small people couldn't stop b_tching about their running out of dressing.

It wasn't as good as home last year. But truth be told, we had take-out the two years prior to last Turkey Day, so I can't even call a feast an annual ritual.

  8. After the four shrimps, did you pick on someone your own size?

Went to another family's gathering ... the family of my oldest step-daughter's husband. Our new family, I guess. Good country folks - think Waltons, but with a satellite dish. Hell of a meal, the kind that would have been great even if there hadn't been any turkey.

Then I worked, but at least no more Ole Miss-MSU on Turkey Night.
