Dan Patrick joins SI Group/new radio show thread

I guess "hack" was taken.

 

let me just say this ...

The best writing, journalism, story telling, etc. is the type where it seems like you are having a conversation with the reader. It's clearly the most interesting.

If Patrick can simply convey his typical thought process to words, then he's money in the bank. I'm quite confident he will do this. Some people are just good, and he is one of them. But, gosh, I do miss him and Olberman. They had to be the best tandem ever on SportsCenter. I'd trade any and everybody to put those two back on the air together again like the old days.

He'll be just fine with SI.

 

I'm hoping Patrick left ESPN because he wanted to stretch himself a little more. I'm hoping his work in SI shows that.

And FYI - the Portland sports radio station dumped Steven A. Smith's show, don't know if they were alone.
