Yes, because the CFL & the Arena Football league are comparables.

    Foof.

It is the PRO football hall, not the NFL...

Anyway, the Arena League has never had a guy as bad-ass as Angelo Mosca.

Not entirely true -- Kelly's USFL stats do not appear as part of his career totals -- but Joe seemed pretty emphatic about the CFL.

So, we'll call it the American Football Only Hall of Fame.

It's NOT a Hall of Fame until Tom Clements goes in, dammit...

Horrigan's semantics aside, the NFL Hall of Fame would be a more apt description. The Hall is in Canton because they were awarded the honor by the NFL in 1961, and Billy Shaw remains the sole AFL-only enshrinee. Their "acceptance" of AAFC records and statistics isn't quite as it seems, either, something the Professional Football Researchers Association (shameless plug) is trying to correct.

I was being facetious. Of course it should be called the NFL Hall of Fame.

Shove the foof comment up your ass.

Arena League may not be up to par with the CFL but the CFL isn't up to par with the NFL.

Allen will be enshrined where he should be enshrined.

My bad, JR. Pet peeve, as a fan of an AFL franchise. And it makes absolutely no sense that the Hall doesn't recognize AAFC records even though they're included in individual players' career totals.

I do love the place, but they should stop hiding behind the "Pro Football" name.

If you don't like the "foof" label, don't make idiotic comments.

And tell me where I said the CFL is on par with the NFL.

    Never have. Never would.

Up until relatively recently (early 80's) before NFL salaries exploded, there were a lot of US college stars coming to the CFL --not to mention QB's like Warren Moon who couldn't get a job in the NFL because of their colour.
