Looks like Junior is done with the No. 8. My question: do car owners also own the numbers or can a driver take the number with him if he changes teams?

It's my personal policy to never use cuss words on sportsjournalists.com. I think it's unprofessional to swear like a sailor, however, there are exceptions to every rule.

FUCK A BUNCHA DALE JR. FUCK YOU. GOSH DAMNIT. FUCK YOU.

    :)

    Shew. I feel better.
So, how about that Carl Edwards?

So who goes? I believe starting with the 2009 season each organization is only allowed to have four teams. You know Gordon and Johnson are safe. Is it Mears or Kyle Busch? I say Busch.

  6. Looks like Busch will be gone.

I will second that train of thought.

Also, it's gotta be Busch that goes...they can't abandon Mears after his first win. Maybe Kyle is going to be Penske's third car next season and the brothers Busch can cause trouble together. Bigger question is does Junior get the No. 5 or No. 25?

Couldn't he take the #3 and drive that or did NASCAR retire that number?

    3 is owned by Childress.

Jayski (yeah, I know...at best a 50/50 accuracy rate lately) is saying Kyle ends up at DEI. Makes some sense, as Biffle (was the hot rumor to DEI) was pretty outspoken this past weekend about his intention to stay w/ Roush Fenway.

It's looking like it's gonna be the No. 5 car.

Oh, and thanks sportschick. So how do you feel about getting a traitor for a driver at the Hendrick stable of jackasses?

    :)
