Just please, don't go to Hendrick Motorsports!

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has scheduled a major announcement for Thursday morning at JR Motorsports, the race team he owns and his sister, Kelley Earnhardt Elledge, runs in Mooresville, N.C.

Might as well turn DEI's shop into an outdoor park with a few show cars and statues.

He thinks he can be more Kulwicki than Rudd, apparently.

I don't know if this is a great move. His Busch team hasn't been especially competitive the past two years (with two drivers) with RCR engines. Apparently next year he'll have Hendrick power.

And this leaves DEI in a hell of a lurch. Paul Menard as your top driver? Ouch.

But after the way she's run the team in the last few years, Teresa's getting what she deserves

Wow. Huge potential for both sides to go bankrupt here. Idiocy all around.

If Junior owns the rights to himself, he'll be fine, financially.

Who the fuck really cares about an over rated driver trying to make people forget about his daddy?

Have you seen NASCAR's attendance, t.v. ratings and merchandise sales recently?

As long as Paul Menard has his daddy's money to fall back on, he'll be fine, which means DEI is fine for the time being.

Look, I'm so tired of hearing about the "growing numbers". It's the same thing like the growing numbers in soccer and hockey and every other minor sport.
NASCAR, even though I like it, still appeals ONLY to a select group of people. That's the facts, like it or not. As a whole people don't give a damn about the sport until somebody crashes.
