Much has been made and rightfully so about Mike Yastrzemski's home run at Fenway the other night with Grandpa Carl watching, but was it any more electrifying than Dale Berra's first home run as a Yankee in 1985 ... at Yankee Stadium? The Yanks were trailing 1-0 in bottom-9 when Berra went yard. I looked for video but can't find anything. That '85 season was interesting because the Yankees fired Dale's dad as manager after 16 games. Was Yogi at Yankee Stadium for Game 54 on June 11 when son hit his first HR in Yankees pinstripes?

    Neither one is particularly iconic.

I'm pretty sure Yogi wasn't there, because after he got fired he vowed not to set foot in the stadium as long as Steinbrenner was running the team. And he kept that promise for quite a few years, I believe.
