I would have, and we had a teacher that was willing, but only if you were on the varsity baseball squad. I didn't make either cut.

 

Most of my teachers were nuns.

Though we did have a non-nun english teacher in junior high I always wondered about. I could see her showing up in one of these stories if news coverage was like this back then.

If the teacher was hot, absolutely I would have. A friend of mine did wind up fooling around with a history teacher who was a track coach. She was about eight years older than him and very good looking, and there was always a flirtation vibe there when we were in school. They waited until he came back from college for Christmas break before anything started, but it still raised some eyebrows. Didn't seem to traumatize him too much, either.

 

OK. So why wouldn't a girl feel the same way if the male teacher was hot and why is that viewed differently? Is it just the "not my daughter" mentality, the protective nature of people for girls? But don't they have some of the same feelings as boys?

Thing is, as a 17 year old of course I would want to hook up with my hot teacher. But as a father, I wouldn't want my 17 year old son doing so. It's not just protective of the daughter, it's protective as a parent. That's just me, though.
