Can't we change the subject line to call this the running CWS blog?

In the 6th or 7th inning, it's Louisville leading Rice 10-8
Someone here suggested a slugfest might break out between these two

The NCAA's got a blog set up on its home page
That's why nobody else was postseason-credentialed to blog

Rice and the 'Ville have combined for 27 hits so far.

Louisville's got just 1 hit over the last three innings
Rice has bombed the 'Blatt with seven straight runs and the Owls lead 15-10 in the bottom of the 8th

Fixed it for the next time you or an NCAA guy visits.

When Pilot Field (now Dunn Tire Park) was first built, the Riches were still in the market for a MLB franchise, so the plans do include room for expansion. Couldn't do much behind the left-field fence, though, without relocating the 190 on-ramp. And I'd have to think college baseball would be a tough draw anywhere in the Northeast; the few SBU games I've been to at DTP have pulled in underwhelming crowds, even with local schools involved.

Selfishly, I'd rather see B-lo continue in the hoops regional/Frozen Four rotation.

Been there, seen it... and all I can say is, no wonder they don't want any competition.

I hope the NCAA blog has an officially credentialed, licensed and rights-secured correction soon.

You're welcome. Next thing is to take away the NCAA's credentialed blogger.

The Tar Heels are -- once again -- playing with a deficit. Go figure.

They cut into it by 1, though.
