Never been a big fan of the guy, nor his politics, nor his ability to run a video gaming business, but hope he gets well.

Boy, I would want a confirmation of some kind on this one. This guy has reasons to not exactly tell the truth.

Felt the same way when I read it but didn't want to come off as crass.

I'm guessing you're not the only ones. Isn't that a strange headline?

"Schilling recently revealed he suffered a heart attack in November 2011. "

That's one I've never heard. The guy is only 47 and he is falling apart.

Not that strange, given what a private guy he is and how he hates to be the center of attention.

So yeah, another vote for not wanting to be crass but needing some confirmation.

Besides confirmation, there isn't anything in there that says what type of cancer. It could be anything.

For Schilling and his family's sake, I hope it's not non-Hodgkins lymphoma now that GlaxoSmithKline is ending production of Bexxar. [/crossthread]

Doubly sad, when you consider Schilling left his hometown Arizona Diamondbacks for Boston in part because his wife was recovering from skin cancer and he wanted to get out of that desert weather.
