Ok its NY centric but so be it. What is it with the push to make Eddy Curry an All Star? Between the Knicks and NY basketball media you would think this guy is Wilt and Russ all rolled into one.

He may be there some day but not yet. You can't be a center and come out of game with only 4- 5 rebounds.

  2. Agreed. Throw in his complete lack of any defensive ability and Curry is about as one-dimensional as it gets.

Curry's not even the under .500 Knicks' best player. That designation belongs to Jammal Crawford.

I don't really care, but as flawed as he is, who in the East is better?

And he's the Knicks best player.

  5. Dwight Howard, Shaq (yes, even now) and Emeka Okafor.

So what's the deal then - why the push to make him an All Star ? Are the Knicks driving it?

No, he's not. He is so bad on defense that it hurts the team on every single possession. I'd say that both Crawford and Marbury are better players.

David Lee might be a better player in the right circumstance.

    I loooove David Lee's game. But I don't think he's a better player.

As I said - "In the right circumstance" depends what you need.

Some nights Curry walks of court with 20 Pts and 3 rebounds

Lee in half the minutes has 12 boards and 10 points .

I can't figure out why Curry at 7 - 1 290 cannot get more bounds.

It's strange, Curry has very good instincts when it comes to scoring and offensive positioning, but is always a step slow in every other aspect of the game.

And until David Lee can hit an open 10 footer, let's not annoint him the savior.
