    I found out last night that the name of my son's T-Ball team, for which I am the manager, is going to be Cubs. That doesn't instill confidence in my inaugural season as a coach. We're bound to suck, and, if my son starts rooting for the Cubs, I might sue.

    I coached Tee-ball for a couple of years with my dad. We asked to be the Cubs, and the stupid commissioner gave us the White Sox because another age group was the White Sox, and it was cheaper that way, and "they're both from Chicago, so I figured you wouldn't mind."

    My response: "Oh, I fucking mind. I'm not wearing that shit."

    Commish was a church-going man, but I was in my rebellious college stage, and I had to make my point.

    I had to wear it — but not for one minute before or after the game — and I wanted to die.

    We were the Cubs for his second year of Tee-ball (city champs, bitch!) and then I moved for work, and he's been on AAU teams ever since.
