CSI: Typecasting

Not really my point.

I guess I wonder whether shows come up with deaf characters and then cast her, or whether -- and I bet this happens -- good shows (West Wing) want to work with her and create these roles.

 

I'm actually proud of CSI, they didn't stereotype with a deaf pregnant teenager.

 

Claire Forlani on CSI:NY. Almost enough reason to watch that show. Almost.

 

In some ways this is like asking to rank the best Yankees hitters of all time. Each brings a little something different to the table.

My top 3:
Marg -- smokin' older babe that you know has done just about everything
Proctor -- the girl next door that would just be wild in the sack, but not quite boots' girl wild
Malina -- the hot European chick, I've always had a crush on her since my girlfriend freshman year in college forced me to watch Guiding Light

 

Marg: Photo that accompanied her "20 questions" story several years ago was very nice.

And I agree with Dooley -- there is something a little off about Kanakaredes. I should find her sexy, but I really don't. Kinda like Debra Messing.

 

Debra Messing's hair and expressions scare me. My understanding is that she was much more a parlay for provocation in Ned and Stacey (I never saw it).

 

The hottest woman on China Beach was Megan Gallagher as neophyte reporter Wayloo Marie.

 

Are we just now realizing Matlin is hot? She was smoking in a really bizarre role as the Dancing Bandit-turned mayor of Rome, Wisconsin in the show Picket Fences.
