... and I wish somebody could give a report from ground zero.

Unfortunately, it's a football weekend or I would damn well be there.

The embedded clip (a trailer for his movie?) is NSFW, among other things.

Aside from his Back to the Future fame, Crispin is one incredibly strange dude. My brother bought his CD (entitled, "Big Problem Does Not Equal the Solution. The Solution = Let It Be.") and made me listen to it on a road trip once. Holy god. There's stuff that could pass for music, but he also just reads passages from his odd books. I seem to remember items about animal mutilation, but I could be wrong.

During college, some acquaintances of mine were in a band, called the Warlock Pinchers, that had a song called "Where the Hell is Crispin Glover?" That was 19 years ago. I guess we know where he'll be in a few weeks.

I have a vinyl copy of that. Even Dr. Demento said it was, with the exception of the clown song, too weird for him.

I completely want to go to this now. Especially after watching that trailer.

His bizarre Letterman appearance is YouTube gold.

  9. His album is freaking bizarre.

I stumbled across it at Amoeba Records in San Francisco one day, and being a die-hard Back To The Future fan, thought "I have to have this."

The album indeed has all sorts of mutilation references, speeches about dead rats and decaying bodies.

    Crispin is a fascinating individual.
