If Kent doesn't get in, no way Biggio should.

Barry Bonds played himself on an episode of Beverly Hills 90210 with Ian Ziering.

Ian Ziering appeared in an episode of 90210 with Denise Richards.

Denise Richards appeared in Wild Things with Kevin Bacon.

    Sad little baseball apologist, you.

Wearing armor so you can dive in on every pitch is fucking pathetic.

    Fuck your fucking name-calling bullshit.

That said, I agree on the body armor. But I disagree on the "takes away big from his offensive accomplishments" aspect of it. Take it in context like everything else.

The game is not played the way it was in 1968. Yes, Biggio didn't have to dodge beanballs like Frank Robinson, and he had plenty of extra padding to ease his pain. But it doesn't detract a damn thing. It is what it is, for better or worse.

Hold Robby's accomplishments up higher, if you respect his more. You've got every right to. But it doesn't detract from Biggio's. Or Bonds'. They are what they are. We're the ones that supply the context, and that's always going to be a little subjective. Your context is always going to be different than mine. No better, no worse.

Any reason to throw the f-bombs around, Simon? I mean, seriously?

And yes, Spnited and I tossed 'em around last nigiht and yes we took our Andy Kaufman schitck too far. So save that line for another time.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with a discussion of Biggio.
