    So you've been to Sayre?

  2. I'm assuming you won't be there Saturday night to collect results, but that can be easy. Let the track's owner/promoter/head honcho know that you want to regularly run the results and standings each week. He'll make sure someone e-mails them to you. We do that with about a dozen local tracks, run 'em every Tuesday, with a featurized top and roundup, and it works great. Hey, the local track(s) might even pop for an ad or two on the page if they know this will be a regular feature.

You must have a REALLY helpful guy. The local track I covered in Virginia had dial-up, and even it only worked about half the time. SALT OF THE EARTH PEOPLE, from the top down (still miss them) but organization was not high on their list.

thanks everyone for great ideas ... in the past, I've had easy access to results and standings, though the stories their promoters have sent over typically take awhile to wade t("Joe Smith, driving his Waffle House-Lowe's Foods-Bill's Automotive-Frank's Bar and Grill Chevy, spun his wheels into the WXJI FM-Bob's Medical-Power Bar victory lane..." That part shouldn't be a problem ...

I just want to go beyond that and do a little more ... this is a great start...
