Why even bother covering this as a gamer...dig up a feature angle of some sort and go heavy on photos. Who cares...it's one of these silly exhibition games.

Yes, you'll be covering it...in a feature package...seems like a silly thing to run as a gamer. But perhaps a feature package with a gamer sidebar where you can keep it brief?

I'm going to guess that this game is either being run by the Dominican Republic basketball federation or an event company the federation hired and they're treating it as a fundraiser so they're doing it as cheap as they can.

This isn't a UK event and Rupp Arena isn't a UK-owned facility. If I'm the UK SID I'm not working it unless I'm getting paid. UK's not to blame here.

EDIT: Who is profiting from this event would be nice little feature.
