I'm courtside, with tip-off just a few minutes away, covering a D1 women's basketball game; one team is ranked in the top 10. It's been a while since I've covered a game, and I'm a bit nervous. Excited, but a little anxious as well.

    It's a butt-kickin'. Home team ended first half on 16-0 run and had a 36-3 from 14:51.

    Just thought I would share.

It's a women's game? Go back into the media workroom at watch a men's game. Grab a box score, get a couple quotes and ask the student newspaper kid if anything unusual happened.

Finals on campus ended today, so I'm pretty sure the student newspaper guy wasn't here.

Enjoyed the game; good to be writing again. Waiting to hear back from my editor on any changes to my story.
