    This hire has been made. Don't recall name of person but someone put it out on Twitter. He's been covering Texas, IIRC, for MLB?

    Ah, good for him. Actually never met him but have read his stuff through various channels and find him to be talented.
     
  4. Great get. The Strib has some of the best young minority (and female) journalists in the business. I know that's its main focus for internships and apprentice positions. Master will do well.

    In any given year, judging by the "Strib's" intern-program demographics, you would think that 11.1% of the aspiring young journalists in the U.S. are non-minority and non-female. Soon, no doubt, this will lead to increases in the paper's advertising and circulation revenues.
