    It's clearly cruel. But unusual?

"Decided to arrest her?" For driving on the shoulder with a broken-down car?

What are we missing here, story-wise? Drugs? Resisting arrest? Unless something of that ilk got lost in translation, it doesn't sound like anything but a douchenozzle, overreaching cop having a bad day and needing a rap on the nose from his superiors.

Sounds like the type of person who hears anything she doesn't want to hear will label it as "derogatory against black people."

Also, does this now mean it's cruel and unusual punishment for cops to listen to gangster rap urging someone to kill the pigs when it's blasting from someone's car?

"Deputy Goad was aware that Boyd had not committed a crime and her arrest was without probable cause," according to the lawsuit filed in Houston.

The magistrate who saw her while jailed apparently agreed and dismissed all charges."

Would anyone be willing to bet me that Officer Goad has never been accused of misconduct before? I'll give you 1,000,000 to 1 odds.

Yes, I bet one American dollar. Now prove to me he has been in trouble before. :)
