I love the instant transition from serious news delivery to spontaneous invective.

I, of course, am at work and dare not watch this until I go home, but for some reason I get the feeling this is either about where I grew up or a place I have worked.

    That was too funny.

Is it real though? Can anyone tell if that's a real station on his mic?

    It's real but it's not live. He's taping a stand-up.

    Pretty funny.

    Very much real.
But it was a stand-up, not live.
The TV world is abuzz, since dude has left that station and is now in a larger market with an eye at moving up again.
The TV folk I know speculate that it was leaked to embarrass him because that footage is several years old.

According to some sites, it's Isiah Carey now from Houston's Fox station.

His "blog" might be the worst one ever.

Jeez...I live just outside of Houston and have never heard of this guy.

Oh, wait. That's right. I don't watch any local news crapfest.

Watching the bug fly in his mouth was the best part.

The funniest thing is Carey's current bio at the Fox affiliate in Houston, which reads "he caught the TV bug"

Isiah Carey is a General Assignment Reporter for FOX 26 News at 9. Originally from Baton Rouge, La., he caught the TV bug at a very young age. In fact, he made his debut in front of the camera at the age of five, on a weekly local segment called Thought for the Day on WVLA-TV.
