I saw the Man vs Food episode and he didn't come close. I would love to try but damn, no way I'm finishing. Good luck to you Chef!

If by EPIC, you mean painful, then yes. I agree.

Nope, you're thinking of something else. Not only did Adam finish it, he did it in 30 minutes. I've seen him fail at stuff that seemed not nearly as difficult, but he mowed down that steak. It was freakin' amazing.

Chef, if you want to see what you're in for, they're actually re-running the Amarillo episode tonight: Man v Food, Travel Channel, 10:30 p.m. (at least Pacific).

Here's the list of those who have completed it.

My bad. Thanks for the correction. New season starts tonight, correct? Love that show.

Did you look at some of those times? One guy this year did it in 17 1/2 minutes! How the hell did he do that? And he only weighed 165LBS!

Back in '87 a guy did it in 9.5 minutes. That's nuts.

Better yet, they have the Man v Food segment on video on the restaurant website:

Doesn't their website link to the cam? At least it says it does...

I've driven past this place a time or ten. Monday was the most recent.

I don't think it's my imagination that the The Big Texan is looking a little unkempt as of late.
