That "talk radio" panel seems very full of potential Fail.

Braylon Edwards? Am I missing something?

  3. He was home the day the phone rang.

Thank god Kellen Winslow didn't answer his phone.

Relatively high profile athlete who, unlike those at the very top of NFL stardom, would agree to sit down and talk about the impact blogs and the internet in general has had on players in their personal lives.

Geez, Dan Patrick and Joe Buck on the same panel? Can this earth handle two smarmy, pompous fools in the same room trying to pontificate at the same time?

  7. Seriously, what in hell does Joe Buck know about anything except valet parking and how to get to the stadium on time?
What am I going to learn from him?
    Why is his input valuable?

A television show on sports journalism run by a sports announcer is not unlikely to have another sports announcer as a contributor. Almost every member of Costas' panels is someone who has done a lot of television appearances. This more than slightly reduces its informative potential, but that's not the object here.

Interesting. The same person will be on the panel and in the video interviews. I suspect new information has come out since the interviews in such a way that he needed to return to television.

Had the greatest sports town hall/panel ever circa 1984 at Tulane: Calvin Hill, Billy Martin, Red Auerbach and moderating at the top of his game, Frank Deford. Goddam glorious is what it was.

The panel's collective IQ will be in negative numbers with the presence of Mariotti and Russo
