No, I don't think you can postpone the games at this point.

"Stunning" is the only word that comes to mind. Wow.

One Yankee with a worse October than ARod.

Hope this isn't a DB, but here's a link from ESPN.com that confirms it as well, with plenty of details....
What a terrible way to go.

To be fair, it was posted well before any of us knew it was Lidle in that plane. I even laughed at it before I knew.

Classless comment. Dudes are dead. Just like the A-Rod crack (which would've been crass had it been a Yankee or not).

And BYH, we all know it hits home a little more when it's someone you've dealt with occasionally involved. Granted, the news anchors may not know Cory Lidle from John Doe, but sure some other people there would.

    Crazy if true:

I was just chatting with my friend Sam in NYC, who says it is well known that Giambi and A-Rod have their residences in that building.

Gee, initial reports said two people died. Then, it came out that Lidle was on the plane. So, I guess you think it's funny that people died in a plane wreck. Asshole.

It is freaky the way one action does affect the future as opposed to another action.

Not quite Thurman Munson, but every bit as tragic.

Thoughts and prayers to his family and the Yankees organization.
