Not sure why a plane would be there. Circling around waiting to land at LGA?

When Bush was notified in the midst of his storytelling, I think his advisers were fairly certain it was a large-scale act of terrorism, not a "small plane" accidentally crashing into a building.

Can we keep the Fredo bashing to a minimum? Cripes, can we maybe talk of something else, like if there are any casulties?

So far, CNN is only reporting one fatality as a result of the accident, but said one of the hospitals was on emergency mode.

At least 3 eyewitness reports on NY TV---includng one from WABC sportscaster Marvell Scott who lives in a building across the street -- indicate that a small plane flying along the East River, began losing altitude, took a nose dive and hit the building on its way down.
Debris and 2 bodies were found on the grouond.
The fire is all but out, firefighters are inside the building

I was supposed to head over to E. 72nd about three blocks from the crash site tonight to meet a friend, but I think I'll cancel.

If you don't go, then the terrorists win.

Lidle called into WFAN Monday to argue with Francesa and Russo. So he was in the area 48 hours ago.
