In other news, The Lakers have decided to shake things up by benching Kobe during the playoffs and giving his minutes to Shannon Brown. Staples is pushing really hard for the move.

At least the quiz shows that were rigged were done with an eye toward ATTRACTING ratings. As a sponsor, you'd think Home Depot would want to stick with what works and not alienate everyone else with Lou Holtz.

ABC should immediately get Fowler and the crew to do pre game for Saturday night games or something.

The Saturday night football games you see on ABC are produced by ESPN.

Technically, ABC no longer produces college football. It just airs it.

There's an update on the blog saying ESPN responded and there's no truth to the rumor.

Well, that BLOG! got a half-day's attention out of that crap.

Their next rumor: the SEC and Pac-10 will merge and play all their games in the Dakotas.

Umpossible. Everyone knows that 3/4 of the SEC won't play west of Fayetteville and none will play north of the Ohio River.
