Killing is against the law, unless it is in self-defense. Having sex, between two consenting adults, isn't.

Every one of them words rang true. This is a disaster.

  3. That's not the speech, though, that's the act.

The First Amendment is seriously a rabbit hole. Think of any challenge you can think of and it has been tried to get out of a crime. We were just talking today about the case where the first WTC bomber tried a First Amendment defense to escape prosecution for guiding the conspiracy.

The solicitation (or ad) for prostitution is free speech.
The offer of sex in exchange for money (or the offer of money in exchange for sex), acceptance of the offer, and the delivery of services, is the act.

I think that the first amendment is being violated with restrictions on advertising of cigarettes and alcohol as well.

And frankly, there is no reason prostitution should be illegal.

And yet gay marriage should be. How strange.

Um, please check your facts. I have always been and always will be 100 percent for consenting adults -- including homosexuals - or anyone else - being able to get married if they want to.

Never once have I ever said otherwise.

So what would it take to strip corporations of the rights of citizenship? Act of Congress or Constitutional amendment?

Guys, I lost my playbook. Is this a ruling we're supposed to start screaming ACTIVIST JUDGES after or not?
