Corporations and the First Amendment

  1. Politco had a fairly convincing piece yesterday that this is all much ado about nothing, and that it won't have a huge impact on the electoral system as presently constituted.

    That statement makes zero sense. Wit requires truth or at least above average intelligence.

    Try actually reading it. That might help.

    The state of Colorado has its own law regarding corporate election spending. The Republican Party in Colorado, as a result of the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision, intends to sue to overturn that law.

    And yet here I thought states' rights were paramount in the view of the Republican Party.

    Did that make any sense? Or do you need it presented in semaphore?
