They do good work here. Gets my seal of approval, for what that's worth.

We have hired Auburn graduates who have done well at our shop, in sports and otherwise.

Good on ya, Tommy. I posted that somewhat sarcastically, noting the rivalry between Auburn and University of Alabama. Good that you guys are open-minded.

    The positives are awesome:
    • Great boss in Tommy Deas
    • A very forward-thinking, busy sports section in Tuscaloosa
    • Cheap cost of living (college town)

Damien Martin is leaving us. His wife got a lucrative job out of state.

In fact, the last two people who have held this position left when the spouse got a too-good-to-refuse job offer elsewhere.

So if your spouse is looking to move up in the world, this could be the job for you.

This position has been filled by Tony Tsoukalas, who leaves his spot as sports editor at the Meridian (Miss.) Star. Tony previously interned for us.

Thanks to all who applied or inquired.
