Note: You'd be doing sports as well other sections.

The Orlando Sentinel seeks a versatile editor for its night production desk.

Our production editors copy edit, design pages, post stories online, create photo galleries, manage the homepage of OrlandoSentinel.com, drive traffic to the website through social media and more. They handle news, sports, business and features copy, both for print and online, in a fast-paced environment.

The preferred candidate is first and foremost a top-notch editor. Design skills and web experience are preferred. Familiarity with NewsGate is a plus. This is an ideal position for an editor who has mastered copy editing, knows design and is eager for digital opportunities.

Come enjoy roller coasters, snow-free winters and fabulous beaches. Cover letter should cite examples of your excellent news judgment. Work samples should include headlines and page design — or links or screen captures highlighting web work.
