What would you have done if the dog had come at you? Taking into account what is already going down.

We're going to have to put you in a cage with a rabid Rotty because your post was so bad.

Sure you can handle it, LTL?

Hell yeah! I'll just coo into his ear and tell him everything will be all right. Those dogs are really just big lovable lugs, you know.

And what happens when you put "Rottweiler kills toddler" into a Google search?

Sure you're up for it? This Rotty is mighty angry at your assertions:

Oh, and to answer Inky's question:

I stopped after that because it was too depressing.

OK, so you've proven to me that rottweilers are responsible for deaths, and I've proven to you that not all of them are "attack" dogs. I think we've really turned a corner in this discussion.

But again, what does any of this have to do with this particular situation? I'm assuming it's the stigma unfairly attached to rotties and pit bulls. I'm not sure a golden retriever would have acted much differently in that situation.

JC, you seem to be mor ein tune with police officers than most here, and I am not being a wise ass when i ask this...

Could the officers have uncuffed the man and told him to control his dog, then recuff him?
