Converting VHS to DVD

    What Lee said. But buy a machine with a hard drive that you dump the tape contents to first, then author the DVD after chopping out excess material, or rearranging the order of what you're keeping. Highly recommended.

    I was looking for something exactly like this recently, after cleaning out the closet in my home's office. But considering the price of DVDs, it would almost be cheaper to just buy the movies on disc instead.

    That being said, there are about a dozen tapes with stuff that CAN'T be bought on DVD.
