Can anyone suggest a program to convert music files from WMA to MP3?

Do you want a free program, or are you willing to pay for one?

I'd rather pay. Have found the free ones come with too much risk

This one is pretty easy to use. It costs $25, and comes with a free trial, so you can decide if you like it or not.

Goldwave is generally an easy program to edit with as well. For about 40 bucks you can edit any soundfile you have, or what to have, on your computer.

I just use Adobe Audition, an audio editing software. But I wouldn't buy it just for the conversion process.
