    So anyway.

Watching them move the casket from the house to the hearse for the processional, completely not understanding the child (nephew/grandson) in flipflops and shorts. These are Kennedys, do they not have shoes??

I thought it was bad enough that I commented on the flipflops.

I really can't imagine how long these cable networks (cnn, msnbc) can keep repeating the same stories by the same old guests, over and over and over. The coverage seems deadly dull.

Two days later, what else is there to say? Even though he served nearly 47 years in the Senate the most interesting thing about him is still his older brothers.

What did you expect? It's not like he was Tim Russert.

Well it's two months later and they're still wringing Wacko Jacko's corpse dry. So they can go as long as they want.

    It's a warm day?

That's weird. On the locked thread you said this:

I'm not trying to defend anybody, but O_T stated that the most interesting thing about Kennedy was his brothers. On the locked thread he stated that Kennedy was an icon because of the family he came from...sort of the same thing. To me, anyway.

If I see another editorial cartoon of Teddy in heaven playing football with Jack and Bobby, I think I might hurl.

Instead of a football they should be playing with Marilyn
