    The NBC Buffalo affiliate is getting pummeled...footage via Skype and Youtube...no live video from presser. You can hear the disdain in the anchor's voice that they have to rely on morons being ghouls and posting the fire on youtube.

    I took a turbo prop just like this back in 2002, and a week later the same kind crashed coming out of the same airport and everyone died.

    I vowed never again -- jets only for me. There's not not enough power in the props in case something unforeseen happens. Obviously, we don't have a reason for the crash yet, but props leave the pilots with much less margin for error.

    Regardless, horrible, horrible stuff. My best to anyone affected by this.

    CNN is interviewing a woman who was supposed to be on this flight but took a earlier flight.

    No. She was scheduled on an earlier flight that was delayed until after this one. She contemplated getting on this one instead, but decided just to wait for her 4:30 flight that took off around 7:30 instead of this one, which was apparently a 7 p.m. departure.
